France's first win at the stadium for 18 years in this championship was completed with panache and brutality as England crashed to their heaviest home defeat in history.
England captain Ellis Genge said: "I am not going to sugarcoat it. That is one of our worst performances and we were punished numerous times. I am not hiding from it, we were well beaten. France are brilliant. We are way off where we want to be."
They were blown away, exposed by France and their masterful conductor Antoine Dupont. A shaken Steve Borthwick knew it as the coach said: "It shows just how much work we have to do.
