In the most serious of 6 the incidents an armed gang attacked two men - in a car in Salford on Friday night, sparking a huge police presence.
Officers were called to the scene on Bury New Road in Kersal at around 8.15pm where they found two men with knife wounds in a car. Police believe the victims were stabbed by a group of men armed with weapons.
Both remain in hospital in a stable condition. One of the injured men was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and remains in custody.
