Police say the victim, who is in his 20s, went outside the venue in Salford at around 2.30am yesterday and was shot.
Officers were called to reports of a male ‘presenting at hospital with a gunshot wound’ at approximately 2.50 am. An investigation was immediately launched, but no arrests have been made so far. The victims’ injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this stage.
According to GMP, initial enquiries suggest the victim was at an event at Un.titled Studio on Astor Road. But someone at the venue, which is in an industrial estate off Eccles New Road, told the M.E.N. the incident had ‘nothing to do’ with them.
