Cath is buzzing after old pal helps her shed stones

She had tried nearly everything to no avail.

The 48-year-old had spent years yo-yo dieting and suffering from eating disorders.

The mum-of-two felt uncomfortable in her size, had high blood pressure and cholesterol and became breathless carrying out the smallest of tasks.

But she just couldn't slim down.

Then just before her mum sadly died of cancer in 2023, she promised her she would turn her health around.

A chance meeting with an old best friend turned into the thing she needed to change.

The speech and language therapist, from Stretford, says her university pal 'understood her' and gave her a new way of 'rethinking her demons' - finally giving her the motivation she needed to lose weight.

Cath searched online and discovered Greater Manchester and Cheshire-based slimming group BeeWeighed, paying to join for three months in advance in February.
