GIRLS TAKE ON CHALLENGES TO RAISE CASH

A COURAGEOUS six-year-old is to take on a series of difficult challenges using a raft to raise money for her sister, whom she never met.

Olivia Hallen, from Swinton, will take on a triathlon, a two-mile bike ride, a two-mile walk, a litter pick, a reading challenge, a bake sale, a sponsored bounce and a football shoot-out.

The goal of the challenges is to raise money for Derian House Children's Hospice, the place where Aimee-Leigh, Olivia Hallen's sister, died after a brave battle with a brain tumour, aged two.

Olivia will be doing the challenges with her best friend, Isabella Willis from Walkden, with the pair aiming to complete 12 challenges in 12 months.

Olivia and Isabella have already completed a few challenges that consisted of a 2.5km obstacle course, a Lidl Mudder endurance course and a 100m swimming challenge.
