She remembered what she had learned in class and realised her grandma needed help fast.
Her quick actions, and maturity beyond her years saved her nana's life and earned her 'superhero' status amongst fellow pupils at her primary school in Salford.
Harper, and one-year-old brother, Jase, were visiting Susan Danson, 71.
But when their mother, Rachel Wynn, 37, left the house to nip to the shops an emergency unfolded.
Harper, a pupil at James Brindley Community Primary in Walkden, Salford, said: "I was dropped off at my nana's with my baby brother.
"My nana's friend was round and she was fine and 10 minutes after her friend left, I looked up from my iPad and she started saying my name weirdly." With Susan suffering a stroke, Harper was quick to remember the lesson she had from her teacher Laura Sharrock two years ago on how to deal with an emergency without an adult.
