Rashford was absent from the starting line-up in three of the last six fixtures against Newcastle, Fulham, and Galatasaray due to rotation, injury, and suspension.
Ten Hag accommodated Garnacho and Rashford in the same XI against Copenhagen, Luton Town, and Everton, with Rashford on the right-hand side rather than in his preferred role on the opposite wing.
