POLICE have released photos of a number of people they want to speak to after violent disorder broke out outside a hotel.

Officers in appeal after violence at hotel protest

The chaotic scenes unfolded outside the Holiday Inn on Oldham Road in Newton Heath on Wednesday night.

A protest started outside the hotel, with demonstrators heard chanting "we want our country back' and 'shame on you.

The disorder then spilled out onto the main road, with riot police called in. The force said around 70 to 100 people were involved.
