A HEARTBROKEN daughter has described the devastation of losing her mum who was given just months to live after doctors missed her cancer symptoms for more than two years.
Demi Hodge said her mum Melissa Jayne Davis, 47, was constantly 'back and forth' from the doctors and by the time she received her cancer diagnosis it was too late.
After being 'misdiagnosed with endometriosis and ulcerative colitis, Melissa was eventually given a scan in January, Demi said.
A tumour was discovered and the mum-of-six was given a biopsy.
When the results came back Melissa was given a devastating diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer and told she had just three to six months to live.
Demi, 23, from Hyde, said: "It started off as endometriosis, then she went back again and they told her it was ulcerative colitis but the pain kept getting worse and the medication wasn't working.
