CITY will make the FA Cup final uncomfortable for United, Pep Guardiola says, as the manager told his players to be wary of the Reds' counterattacking threats.
The Blues were ruthless in their 6-3 home derby win in the Premier League this season, but were beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford.
Guardiola says he has watched back that league defeat in preparation for the final, and felt his side played well, but knows they must be wary of United's threat on the transitions.
"In finals there are moments, there is not just one direction. Because opponents are good, emotions are there," said the Blues boss. "We try to play a game where we feel most comfortable in the team or line-up we play. Sometimes we want to play one way and we are not able to do it.
