THOUSANDS of junior doctors in England will start voting on Monday on whether to strike over pay.
PM offers hope in nurse pay dispute

Around 45,000 members of the British Medical Association (BMA) are being balloted, with the result due at the end of February.

The BMA has told the Government if there is a yes vote, junior doctors will begin their action with a 72-hour “full walkout” in March.

RISHI Sunak raised a glimmer of hope over the nursing strikes by saying he was willing to discuss pay, but indicated he would not negotiate over the current deal.

Royal College of Nursing (RCN) general secretary Pat Cullen said she had a "chink of optimism" after noticing a "little shift" in the Prime Minister's stance on Sunday.
