NEIGHBOURS have spoken of their shock after a man was knifed in a 'nasty' attack.
Police were called to Withington Road in Whalley Range at around 8pm on Sunday, before finding a man with stab wounds.
He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were not deemed life-threatening. Greater Manchester Police said officers are 'determined to find the person responsible. No arrests have been made.
A cordon was in place at the Bowling Green Court flats.
Crime scene investigation specialists were seen trawling for clues.
One person said they didn't hear the attack over the sound of children playing, but saw blood on the ground after stepping out of their home.
He said people had been left 'shocked, and that neighbours were relatively 'close-knit. Another person said their phone rang numerous times as concerned friends and family checked they were okay having seen the news.
