MEN BLUNDERING council workers tarmaced over road markings in Stevenson Square - just a day after they were mistakenly painted.
Lines were laid down on Monday (January 23) in the Northern Quarter square, three-quarters of which has been pedestrianised permanently, in areas where vehicles are no longer allowed.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, the entirety of Stevenson Square was closed off to traffic, but after a row with bus firms, one section outside the Fred Aldous store reopened in December as a bus lane.
