RODRI intends to see out his City contract – but refused to close the door on any club in the future, including Real Madrid.
Rodri, 28, who just won the Ballon d’Or due to his form with the Blues, has a deal until 2027.
Real Madrid have made no secret of their desire to sign the Spaniard, with ‘RODRI 2025’ paraded on the front of Spanish newspapers earlier this year.
However, the Spanish giants boycotted the Ballon d’Or ceremony when they learned Rodri would win over Vinicius Jr and made it clear they do not respect the result.
