One diner told the M.E.N. people wearing 'ski masks' forced their way into the high-end Japanese restaurant MUSU on Valentine's Day. Customers in the Bridge Street eatery were left shaken after the incident.
The restaurant, which opened in November 2022 after a £3.5m investment, issued a statement via social media, describing the incident as 'a shock for guests and staff. Pictures shared on social media showed a number of smashed windows at the front of the restaurant and shattered glass on the pavement outside.
Restaurant bosses said no one was hurt during the incident and added that they were 'working with the police to find out exactly what happened.'
