THE campaigning mother of Manchester Arena bomb victim Martyn Hett has told how the Vienna terror plot has brought back memories of losing him and she urged the government to finally speed through a new law in his name to prevent another attack.
Figen Murray's 29-year-old son was one of 22 killed when Salman Abedi blew himself up at an Ariana Grande concert in 2017. Her campaign for new terror legislation has led to Martyn's Law, which PM Keir Starmer has vowed to implement and was mentioned in the King's Speech.
Now she has underlined her calls for Martyn's law to be speeded through parliament after the news emerged a plot to murder young concert-goers at a Taylor Swift gig in Austria had been foiled.
