Although we are a week shy of the actual St Patrick's Day (March 17), Manchester kicked off celebrations a tad early with a grand parade.
At the heart of this year's Manchester Irish Festival is the annual Paddy's Day parade which took place yesterday. Boasting more than 30 floats, a dazzling display of glittering costumes and marching bands, the march brought with it the sounds and sights of the Emerald Isle to the streets of Manchester.
