The Army identified the fallen hero as Naib Subedar Rakesh Kumar of the elite 2 Para (Special Forces). "We salute the supreme sacrifice of Nb Sub Rakesh Kumar, who laid down his life in the line of duty," the Army's White Knight Corps posted on X, expressing solidarity with his grieving family.
