Three devotees lost their lives and eight others sustained injuries in a landslide on the Kedarnath Dham trekking route in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag district on Sunday, officials reported.

The incident occurred around 7:30 am near the Chirbasa area on the Gaurikund-Kedarnath trekking route when heavy stones and debris fell from the hill, striking the devotees, according to Nandan Singh Rajwar, Rudraprayag District Disaster Management Officer.
