Go First may get another 60 days to complete resolution

Go First is likely to secure a further 60-day extension of the moratorium period to complete its insolvency resolution process, after its initial 90-day extension expired on 4 February, legal experts said.

While this would give the grounded airline more time to stage a revival, it could further delay the return of aircraft to its lessors, who have pleaded for repossession of their assets before several courts.

The airline is reportedly preparing to approach the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to extend its moratorium period for an additional 60 days, as it has attracted interest from Sharjah-based aviation company Sky One, Africa-focused Safrik Investment, and local carrier SpiceJet.
