These games not only serve as a platform for athletic competition but also promote deeper collaboration in sports diplomacy and cultural exchange among BRICS member states.
Russia has proposed the BRICS Kazan Sports Charter, a framework aimed at regulating the goals, principles, and directions of sports cooperation within the BRICS space. This charter outlines mechanisms for implementing collaborative sporting initiatives and sets guidelines for hosting the games by the rotating chairmanship of the association.
