The Punjab and Haryana High Court in the case M/s. Imaging Solutions (P) Ltd. v. State of Haryana and others observed and has stated that appeal cannot be dismissed as it being not maintainable on account of non-payment of requisite fee.

The Division bench comprising of Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma and Justice Sanjay Vashisth was hearing the present matter.

The Appellate Authority in the case dismissed the appeal as it being not maintainable which being on the ground that the assessee or petitioner had failed to pay an amount of Rs. 10,000/- as fee for hearing the appeal while the assessee was required to deposit a total sum of Rs. 20,000/- as fee.
