REDEMPTION: RUGBY CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE IN MBOMBELA CLASH.

If you had to take a silver lining out of the Springboks disappointing 2928 Rugby Championship defeat against Argentina in Santiago del Estero over the weekend, it is that there is now a grandstand finish to the competition ahead.

The All Blacks and Wallabies will play their final game of the competition on Saturday morning (SA time), followed by the Bok-Los Pumas title showdown that afternoon (kick-off 5pm), in Mbombela.

Argentina have never won the Rugby Championship (previously Tri Nations) since joining the competition in 2012, and their best finish was when the Boks weren't involved due to Covid, finishing second in 2020.
