He made the remarks after filing his nomination papers from Brahmpuri assembly seat in Maharashtra on Monday. He filed his nomination from Bramhapuri constituency in the presence of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and AICC observer incharge of Vidarbha, Bhupesh Baghel.
In his nomination rally, Wadettiwar while attacking the government on various issues from corruption to inflation, promised that the Congress government if voted to power, will increase the amount for 'Ladki Behan' scheme from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,500.
