Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Sunil Ambekar on Monday condemned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over his remarks pertaining to the Hindu community and said that it is "unfortunate" that people holding responsible positions in the Parliament are "associating Hindutva with violence."
Lok Sabha witnessed an uproar over Rahul Gandhi's remarks pertaining to the Hindu community with Union Home Minister Amit Shah saying that the Congress leader should apologise for his remarks.
"It is unfortunate that people holding important responsible positions in the Parliament are associating Hindutva with violence. Hindutva is such that whether it is Vivekananda's or Gandhi's, it is a symbol of harmony and brotherhood, nothing more than that.
