Alternative routes will be made available in Vijayawada
The Free Press Journal - Bhopal|December 31, 2024
State government has focused on large-scale development works with a vision to meet the needs of the ever-growing city of Vijayawada. In this context, MP said that efforts are being made to build roads and infrastructure with a solid plan
METRO INDIA NEWS | AMARAVATI

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Shivanath on Monday said that until the flyover and metro corridor works are completed, the government will focus on alternative routes and take immediate steps to make them available to the people.

He said that if the works on the flyover from Mahanadu Road to Nidamanur and the works on the metro corridor from Gannavaram in the first phase starts in a few days, the traffic problem in Vijayawada will increase further and it will also become difficult for lorries to enter Autonagar.

On Monday morning, MP Shivanath, MLA Gadde Rammohan and Collector Dr. Lakshmisha inspected some roads in Autonagar. They inspected the road development works to be undertaken in those areas as well as the link roads. They felt that if lorries were allowed on these roads, there would be no problem in traffic.
