Men's team win consecutive Olympic bronze

Hockey in 2024

Consecutive Olympic medals after five decades and the revival of the Hockey India League was the high point in Indian hockey in 2024. Successful defense of the Asian Champions Trophy by both women's and men's teams also highlighted hockey growth.

Men's Hockey

With a bronze medal in the Paris Olympics in August, the Harmanpreet Singh-led men's team added to the Tokyo Games medal, to announce their rise again. The Indians played fearless hockey under chief coach Craig Fulton. The win against Great Britain in the quarterfinals, with 10 men, showed their resolve.
