With 28 more samples testing positive for dengue in last two days, the total number of cases has reached 314, so far this year. Moreover, a 16-year-old boy died due to the deadly vector-borne disease.
The patient, a resident of Palda succumbed to the treatment on August 19 but the health department reported the same on September 2.
Similarly, the health department reported positive cases of August 29 with a delay of six days.
