This incident marks the third false threat received by airlines in the last two days, with a similar threat involving an Indigo Airlines flight from Varanasi to Delhi on Sunday. The Akasa Airlines flight was scheduled to depart from Delhi at 8:40 am but was delayed by nine minutes, taking off at 8:49 am. The flight was expected to land at Mumbai airport at 10:45 am.
