BJP rebukes Cong over corruption allegations
The Free Press Journal|September 05, 2024
Chhattisgarh State spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sandeep Sharma, has strongly refuted allegations of corruption in paddy procurement, custom milling, and storage made by the Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly, Charandas Mahant.
BJP rebukes Cong over corruption allegations

Sharma criticized the Congress party for making corruption allegations, comparing them to 'the cat that went on a pilgrimage after eating a hundred rats', highlighting what he sees as hypocrisy.

Sharma stated that Congress is unable to digest the transparent and farmer-focused initiatives implemented by the state's BJP government, which are aimed at economic empowerment and making agriculture profitable. He accused Congress leaders, who he claims have a history of exploiting every opportunity for corruption while in power, of being unable to see beyond their own corrupt practices and seeing everything in a negative light.
