BJYM clears air on Coldplay
The Free Press Journal|October 01, 2024
The Bharatiya Yuva Janata Morcha (BJYM) has clarified that it is not opposed to the Coldplay concert scheduled for January 18, 19, and 21 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Tejinder Singh Tiwana, the Mumbai president of the Morcha, told FPJ on Monday, "We are only opposed to the black marketing of tickets that has taken place."

Tiwana has complained to BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who oversees the home portfolio, urging him to register an FIR against BookMyShow and its management for alleged money laundering and cheating in ticket sales. Due to a complaint filed by a senior functionary of the party's youth wing, an impression had begun to circulate that the party opposed the mega event.
