In a landmark move aimed at ensuring economic and social security for police personnel, the Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with eight major banks under the Police Salary Package Scheme.
The initiative covers State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and IDBI Bank.
