Days after he offered to resign taking responsibility for the BJP's poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said he has been asked to continue to work by Amit Shah, who he met in New Delhi a day ago.
Saturday Speaking on after a party meeting where state BJP legislators passed a resolution reposing faith in him and seeking that he continue as party leader, Fadnavis also said that fake narratives like the BJP will change the Constitution and Mahayuti failed to stop industries from going out of Maharashtra acted as the fourth (opposition) party, besides the three-party Maha Vikas Aghadi, that the ruling Mahayuti coalition had to fight.
