Gory rape details out, doctors' stir spreads
  • Glass shards in eyes, trainee doctor's head was slammed against wall when she tried to resist the assailant

The reports have revealed that the accused had beaten her up when she tried to resist before being raped and murdered.

As per the autopsy reports, cut marks were found on the victim's hands and face. The reports revealed that a blow had caused shards of glass from her spectacles to break and enter the deceased's eyes. Injuries to the head were also reported, as the accused apparently slammed the deceased head against a wall.

Following the autopsy reports, questions that have gone viral are whether the arrested accused was capable of doing so alone. Was he accompanied by more than one accomplice? The absence of CCTVs in the seminar room where all this happened still remains a mystery.

Meanwhile, the doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi on Monday joined the strike called by the Federation of Resident Doctors' Association (FORDA) to protest against the RG Kar incident. Earlier on Sunday, doctors of 10 Delhi government hospitals had gone on strike in solidarity with the protests.
