The Jammu and Kashmir High Court has granted anticipatory bail to a Wing Commander who has been accused of forcing his junior officer to perform oral sex on him.
The court reasoned that since the petitioner is serving as a Wing Commander, his service career will be in jeopardy if he is arrested. "There is a prima facie case for indulgence at this stage as the petitioner is serving as a Wing Commander at the Air Force Station, Srinagar, and in case of arrest his reputation as well as his service career shall be jeopardized," the court said in the order.
