Former minister S R Mahesh on Saturday threatened to wage a legal battle against corruption-tainted IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri if the government fails to take strict action against her. Sindhuri faces multiple allegations, including misuse of government funds and corruption.
Speaking at a press conference held at his office, Mahesh criticised the previous BJP-Congress coalition government for failing to act against Sindhuri despite various charges being levelled and proven in court.
He alleged that a lobby of IAS officers was shielding Sindhuri and warned that he would take the matter to court if the state government continued to ignore these issues.
