The violent activities of Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district continue to escalate. In a brutal incident, BJP leader Mando Ram was killed in Somanpalli village under the Farsegarh police station area.

The Naxalites accused him of being an informer for the police and targeted him for his political association.
