Pawar, who has held the position of Chief Minister of Maharashtra four times and has never lost an election, stated, "The last one-and-a-half years are left for my tenure in the Rajya Sabha. I will think about whether I should go for another Rajya Sabha term. However, I am not going to fight any Lok Sabha election or any other election in the future." This statement has sent ripples through Maharashtra's political landscape as he prepares to step back from the forefront of politics.
As he gears up for the assembly polls scheduled for November 20, Pawar is backing his grandnephew.
