Raipur DEO issues standard expenditure rates for candidates

Raipur Collector and District Election Officer Dr. Gaurav Singh has issued the standard rates for expenditure on various items for political parties and candidates contesting the Assembly by-election 2024 in Assembly Constituency No. 51 (Raipur City South).

These rates were determined in consultation with political party representatives and cover costs for vehicles, lighting, sound systems, tents, decorations, food, videography, publicity materials, and other campaign necessities.

Food: Rs 5 per laddu, Rs 10 per buttermilk packet, Garlands and Bouquets: Small garland at Rs 15/kg, big garland at Rs 50, VIP garland at Rs 300, thick garland at Rs 900, Small bouquet at Rs 60/kg, big bouquet at Rs 110/kg, loose flowers at Rs 80/kg.
