In view of the Telangana State is witnessing incessant heavy to very heavy rains, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has reviewed the situation and asked officials to be vigilant roundthe-clock for taking up rescue and relief operations.
The Chief Minister has spoken to Ministers Bhatti Vikramarka, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Tummala Nageshwar Rao, Damodara Raja Narasimha and Jupally Krishna Rao over phone and enquired about the relief operations in the submerged areas.
He held a teleconference with higher officials, including Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and DGP Jitender and Municipal Administration, Energy, Panchayat Raj, HYDRA and Irrigation departments and asked them to be alert in the next 24 hours.
The Chief Minister ordered district Collectors, SPs, Revenue, Irrigation and Municipal officials to conduct field visits in the flood hit habitations.

MHADA's Konkan Board gets 4,420 applications till Nov 7
The Konkan Housing and Area Development Board, a regional unit of MHADA, has received 4,420 applications for housing lottery till November 7, while 1,313 people have paid the required earnest money deposit (EMD) for the registration and application process for the sale of 12,626 housing units on October 11.
