Soon, registered labourers to get to stay at model night shelter home
The Free Press Journal|August 29, 2024
The labour department has decided to construct model night shelter homes for registered construction labourers who migrate from one place to another in search of employment. The shelter home to be constructed on a 20,000 square feet area will come up in all 16 Municipal Corporations of the state.
Rajan Raikwar

The construction labourers registered with MP Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MPBOCWWB) will be eligible to stay at the shelter home.

Every year, construction workers migrate from one place to another in the state looking for work and often struggling to find adequate shelter for their families. This ambitious project by the labour department aims to provide much-needed relief.
