Trump pitches for 'make in US' policy

Flaying "Comrade Kamala Harris", his opponent in the presidential race and tweaking at the ears of China, Republican Party nominee Donald Trump unveiled his economic policies on Thursday if he were to be elected.

Addressing business leaders at the Economic Club of New York, he repeatedly called Harris "Comrade Harris" and said her plans for the US economy would spell disaster then went on to say that he plans to impose punishing tariffs on foreign imports, especially from China.

This would include goods manufactured by US companies abroad and brought to the US. Though he did not mention India, his plans would affect exporters in the country.
