When torrential rains hit Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states for the past 48 hours, both Chief ministers Chandrababu Naidu and Revanth Reddy, rose to the occasion and they are monitoring relief and rehabilitation works 24X7. Chandrababu Naidu, a master and pioneer in relief and rehabilitation work for any such natural disaster has put administration, resources and network in place in ensuring minimum damage to people and properties. Not lagging behind, Telangana CM Revanth also put his administration on call and overseeing the measures.
In the last two days, as rightly predicted by the weather forecasters especially the young and freelancers, both the Telugu States have been receiving heavy to heavy torrential rains and all the rivers, reservoirs, lakes, streams, tanks and virtually every irrigation project and water body are overflowing. In both the states, several regions and areas, which are not known for receiving good rainfall during the Monsoon, have received rainfall in abundance often breaking records of several decades.
