Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the Indian community in New York, stated that India's 5G market is now larger than that of the United States.
'World will run on made-in India chips'

Emphasising India's technological advancements, the Prime Minister added that the country is on its way to developing home-grown 6G technology.

He further said, "Today, almost every big brand of mobile in the world is made in India. India is the world's second-biggest mobile manufacturer of the world...Now, India doesn't follow, it creates new systems and leads. India has given the world a concept of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI)". The Prime Minister also asserted that it won’t be long before Indian-made semiconductor chips reach the US.

"India wants more and more devices in the world to run on 'Made in India' chips...That day is not far when you will see the madein-India chip in America. This small chip will take India's flight of  Viksit Bharat  to a newer height.  'Ye Modi ki guarantee hai'  (This is Modi's guarantee)," he added.

Further highlighting the technological advancements and developmental steps the country has taken under his government, PM Modi stressed, "India is now the land of opportunities. It doesn't wait for opportunities anymore, it creates opportunities. In the last 10 years, India has created launching pads of opportunities in every sector".
