Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers, led by city president Tejinder Singh Tiwana, vandalised the Congress office in Mumbai on Thursday, alleging that the grand old party has consistently insulted Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
The Azad Maidan Police have registered an FIR against Tiwana and 30-40 BJP workers following a complaint by Mandar Pawar, executive president of Congress Bhavan. The charges include violations under Sections 74, 118(1), 189(1)(c), (2), (3), 190, 191(2), 192, 324(3), and 333 of the BNS Act, as well as Section 135 of the Bombay Police Act. Further investigation is underway.
