I THINK I have just about recovered from an amazing weekend of rugby at 'the Brickfields Fortress' as we remained unbeaten at home this season with a scintilating 39-23 victory over Bishop's Stortford last weekend.

The game itself was an absolute pleasure to watch, the boys on both sides looking fresh and keen to make an impact after the Christmas break. It was an end-to-end, fast paced match with both teams providing an entertaining afternoon of live sport in Britain's Ocean City.

With captain Jack Oulton back on the team, it goes to show how much having a few more senior faces on the team pumps up moral and tightens discipline.

Off the pitch we had a staggering 1,220 of you in attendance on Saturday, it gave a whole new meaning to 'The Devonport End, as you guys were loud, and it was rocking!

UK house sales fell in November

House sales slipped back in November, compared with October, but were higher than the same month a year earlier, according to HMRC figures. Across the UK, 92,640 property sales were recorded in November 2024 - 8% lower than the previous month but 13% up on November 2023.
