GREEN ARMY SHOULDN'T MISTAKE LACK OF 'SPECULATION' FOR LACK OF ACTIVITY
CHRIS ERRINGTON
All quiet on transfer front

THE absence of transfer speculation surrounding Plymouth Argyle seems to be a cause for concern among some of the Green Army, but it should not be mistaken for a lack of activity behind the scenes at Home Park.

I am led to believe there is plenty of recruitment work taking place, but Argyle are trying to keep their plans under wraps as much as they possibly can. When potential targets are players who could also interest bigger, better-financed rivals that is a very sensible strategy to have.

It is worth remembering that it is still only mid-June and also that the summer transfer window does not actually open until this Friday.
