A PLYMOUTH grandad and gardener who is battling a rare form of cancer has been making his family’s pub look beautiful everyday.
Richard Hutchings, 70, is retired and has been caring for his wife Sue, who suffered a stroke a few years ago. He juggles looking after his wife, his own cancer treatment and making people smile at The Westward Inn in Lee Mill.
Richard has even won an award from Devon Wildlife Trust for his green-fingered talent of brightening up the neighbourhood.
