Brickfields: public to have say

MEMBERS of the public can have their say on a £21m plan to upgrade the Brickfields sports facilities. A consultation has begun and people are urged to give their views on proposals which would see the Devonport location transformed into a sports hub and home for Plymouth Argyle’s women’s and youth teams.

The plans would see existing facilities, including the sports centre and cafe, revamped with exciting additions such as a computer games room, and new football pitches created, including one with a small grandstand. There would also be the construction of a building for the Argyle academy and a dome for young players to train indoors.
