PLYMOUTH businesses have backed a revised plan for the £12.7 million revamp of Armada Way but warned any further delays will threaten the future of the city centre.
Plymouth City Centre Company, which represents more than 500 businesses, urged councillors to get on with the project and said traders have "suffered long enough" The revamp has been delayed since Plymouth City Council chopped down 110 trees under cover of darkness on March 15 last year.
The original scheme was sent back to the drawing board and a six-week consultation carried out on a new scheme in the autumn.
